Chabot Space & Science Center
The Chabot Space & Science Center is approximately 10 miles northwest of downtown Hayward via I-580 and Skyline Boulevard in the Oakland Hills — and it's one of the premier science field trip destinations in Northern California. Bus drop-off is at the main entrance on Skyline Boulevard, with bus parking available in the main lot.

Wente Vineyards
Wente Vineyards is one of California's oldest continuously operating family wineries, founded in 1883, and it's just 20 miles east of Hayward via I-580. The estate includes a tasting room, a restaurant, an outdoor concert venue, and miles of vineyard trails — making it a natural anchor for a Livermore Valley wine tour day trip. Group tours and tastings are available; contact the winery in advance to arrange your visit.

Drake's Brewing Co. — The Barn
Drake's Brewing Co. is one of the most popular craft breweries in the East Bay, located just 8 miles north of Hayward via I-880 in San Leandro. The Barn taproom is a spacious, welcoming venue with a rotating tap list of Drake's flagship and seasonal beers — a great anchor for an East Bay brewery crawl. From here, your group can continue north to Oakland or south back to Hayward for additional stops.

Don Castro Regional Recreation Area
